Cream of Beat happens twice a year and its “strictly for the old school”. This year we had a bunch of crews get down with The Pirate DJs. Big shout out to the Local 1200, Triple Threat, Original DJs, they all rocked. Apollo and ShortKut did their thing with the video mixing and brought out the old videos, really dope.

Fresh Jordan 1s / I had to do it (FYI:The 1s come out this weekend). Fresh Adidas Forums / Fran Boogie did it as well. Yeah. We stayed on stage.

Last weekend we held our first True Summer Series BBQ at True East / Walnut Creek, CA. We had a BBQ, we had djs spinning and we raffled off a pair of Yeezy’s. Thanks to everyone that came out to the dub c , its what Chuy calls it.
Roll Call: DJ Mind Motion, Apollo, Vinroc, DJ Boogie Brown, Fran Boogie, DJ Dark Money, Big Body Cisco, Travis, DJ Platurn, Jeno, Supreme, Fredzilla. Thanks to the True SF and True East staff that made this event run really smooth all day.

Just letting you know of what True is doing this weekend, its the start of our True Summer Series BBQ. We’re having guest djs / Pirate DJs | Triple Threat DJs | 5th Platoon | GetLive spin in the store throughout the afternoon. We’re also Bar-B-Qing, dropping some special collabs and having a $10 Yeezy Raffle to win a pair of the latest Nike Air Yeezy. Vitamin Water will be the official drink for this event at True this weekend.
