FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
On Monday July 21st, I parted ways with Class System.
Class System started off with 2 partners with a vision, to supply Long Beach and the greater Los Angeles county with premium goods, to teach the youth of the same visions we share with the brands we stock.
We got the ball rolling, I designed the logo, brought in the brands that I believed that made a positive outlook on the future of this industry, original partner/owner, Christian Cabreza sorted out plans for the store’s layout and sound design.
Within a month, the shop opened it’s doors on March 3rd of 2008, with a strong opening and a strong support by close associates and friends, the shop was called the next best thing in Long Beach.
Surrounded by harsh times, with the economy coming to a difficult stage, the shop reached a vantage point. A decision needed to be made, sign over the business to another partner or find an investor.
Class System’s original owner, Chris Cabreza found an investor by the name of Sophy Kea, 2 of the same, Sophy came aboard Class System to assist the new retail venture in these harsh times.
From investing, Sophy became the new owner of Class System. Our original team was gone and the shop started from scratch again.
There were things that I didn’t agree with but I tried working with it, going along with the game plan.
2 months have passed and no progress was made with the store. Things that were promised to me as a designer/buyer/marketing/art director were not met.
First I left my position as art director also leaving my responsibilities as part of marketing to focus on other projects at the time, giving Class System one last push. Unfortunetly, the push has come to an end.
At this time I strongly feel that it is right to part ways and move on. Leaving as a buyer, I am responsible for getting brands into the store that I believe make an impact in this industry and catch the eye of the consumer and that is all.
I believe that the store can move on without me and that with the right decisions, Class System can remain the next best thing in the city of Long Beach and the greater Los Angeles area.
Any questions or concerns please feel free to contact me at justpudge@gmail.com

Yo Pudge…you had a good thing going, but I’m sure the next venture will be even better! LBC and the Promenade won’t be the same.
