Milan, Some Graf and Michelangelo’s Pieta
February 5, 2010 – 1:08 am | No Comment | submitted by Reign Fatlace

Saw this on the train.
zor tag

Zor has cool style. Sorry it’s blurry, point and shoot steez on a moving train.

It was dope to see Amaze up in another country. The other tags weren’t as nice.

This caught my eye while walking through Milan. Not sure what is says though.

This tag has a cool flow to it. Looks like Wink.

I didn’t know Michelangelo’s unfinished Pieta was here. It was a cool surprise. During school it was one of the hundreds of pieces I memorized. There is way more shock value seeing a sculpture live vs. in a book. I recommend making this one of your stops if you’re in Italy. You can see the movement, tension, intricate details and expression on their faces, while it’s still unfinished. We just saw Leonardo’s Last supper. This was the most memorable day of art in Italy and I saw thousands of works on my trip. Almost got tired of looking at art, haha. But, seeing masters’ works in person really lets you know why they were called masters.

I work on these on the train. Tilt shift on the go. This shot was taken
at the site for the new transbay bus terminal a few months ago. Looks
way different now.

Amalfi Sunset
January 19, 2010 – 11:32 am | 2 Comments | submitted by Reign Fatlace

It’s a rainy day, so here’s a little sun. I might have posted this a long time ago, but in this version, I adjusted the levels a little and rotated the photo, to straighten out the horizon line. Took the shot while on the bus heading north from Cinque Terre. The road was super twisty like a touge. The drivers have mad skill maneuvering the bus along the narrow roads while scooters, cars and other buses squeeze through.

Florida Trip Photos
January 18, 2010 – 1:02 am | No Comment | submitted by Reign Fatlace

Here are some photos to summarize the FLA trip. We didn’t make any tourist stops, just regular non-tourist attraction photos. This is the first time I didn’t go to any meets full of street legal race cars that we can’t have (smog legal) in California. My last visit, I got a stupid moving violation for being a passenger in a car that “lost control.” Long story. Lame cop too. Sorry about the tangent, Here are the pics.

Near the Tampa airport is a place called Bahama Breeze. Go there, the food is really good.

Found a place with two of my favorite beers.

We were at Catch 23. Pretty good burgers for $2.00 and the fries were excellent!

I took Aiden for a walk while waiting for seating at Catch 23. Weather was nice! Rare to have no jacket at night in SF. Something I’m not used to.

Here’s a cool bridge we crossed while heading to the outlets.

These door handles caught my eye at a wack place to eat. We wanted buffalo wings and they were bad! Dry chicken and no hot sauce on the wings… I forgot the name of the place, but if you see these gas pump door handles, don’t go in. You were warned.

We had some Greek food at Mykanos. Good stuff! The beer wasn’t my steez, but it was worth trying. Almost tasted like Bud, but not wiser.

It’s amazing how far from the curb people park at Florida. That’s frowned upon where I’m from. Meter maids would have a field day here.

Not sure what this crew is about, but it caught my eye. Maybe they drive through swamps. 10x zoom came in handy.

The big body Beauville seats 12 and is fun to drive.

Me and Aiden were waiting around while ladies were shopping. No tripod hand held night shot.

Stop over at ATL
January 13, 2010 – 9:50 am | No Comment | submitted by Reign Fatlace

There were no direct flights to TPA. We had a choice between Dallas and Atlanta. I picked Atlanta because the food is better and I like the layout.

Airplane food isn’t that great, so we were fiendin something greasy. Burgers or fried chicken. While walking around, we saw a bar in the middle of the airport, out of nowhere. Nah, we needed food. Found out there was Popeyes Chicken and we were on our way! It was a hike, but well worth it.

While waiting around, we ran into the Clyde the Glide shop. He was one of my favorite players back in the day.

What’s an airport visit without a tilt shift photo. I love airports since there are a lot of cool vehicles to shoot at an elevated angle.

While walking to work, I saw the colorway in the corner of my eye and thought of Falken race cars. So I took a quick snap. The branding is memorable! Not the usual track bikes that I post, huh? Happy Monday y’all
