Call Fail, AT&T and iPhone

Submitted by Reign Fatlace on September 17, 2009 – 2:22 pm2 Comments

I don’t ask for much. Just want my phone to be able to make calls… one of the most basic functions of a “phone”. I used to be with Verizon. Yes, dropped calls happened and every carrier has dead zones. My dropped call count was about 2-3 a month with Verizon. Switched to AT&T for the iPhone, now my dropped calls are 2-3 a day. 3G is rarely available in the middle of the city and we don’t have SMS, a feature my candy bar phone had at 2000. I’m not sure how AT&T will be able to keep it’s customers. The iPhone isn’t enough for me to stay after my two year contract is up. I always wanted an iTouch. Now I have one that can sometimes make phone calls.

All my buddies have been complaining about this more and more lately. One by one selling their iphones off…

I’ve had Verizon for a couple years now and I absolutely LOVE the service. Hands down, can not beat it in my area. I just wish we had a better selection of phones. Guess you can’t have it all though. Either have the ability to use whatever phone you want(on GSM) with crappy service, or pick from a small handful of phones with awesome service.

Verizon just needs to start selling the iphone to make everyone happy.

I TOTALLY AGREE. Apple sucks for being suckers to the AT&T Greedy Monster. Verizon just needs to come out with a sick Google Phone and it’s over for Apple. I use my phone less and less these days AT&T’s service sucks.
