“I don’t know but today seems kinda odd..”
Today was field trip day for the Kids. It was a clear sunny day in sf and also the first Tuesday of the month of November, meaning FREE day at SFMOMA. Photographer, Richard Avedon currently has an exhibit up at the MOMA. I highly recommend catching this show before its gone at the end of the month. Here is a quick photo recap of the exhibit.

Andy Warhol and The Factory

60 or so photos of various leaders from 1976

Marilyn Monroe

Fav photo of the exibit. He a 13 year old snake skinner.
BTW… those photos were from Fram’s Blackberry, Rudy (the security dude) kept running around yelling at us to get off our phones, so those photos were taken on the run. We were only on the phone trying to meet up with DJ Ant 1 and J Boo. More photos from the museum.

Oh did I mention we found Waldo?

See him?

WNKK DJ Hero Review
Today’s radio show is pretty epic, we got a phone call from the T19 boys in Japan!!!
During the recording of the Krazy Kids Radio show we found out (via twitter, sigh) even more epic information…

No, the sky is not falling, a cable snapped off the bridge and hit 3 cars. Our show is recorded in Oakland, and we had to get back across the bridge to our homes in San Francisco. We decided to detour, take another bridge further south, eat at Wing Stop and visit Best Buy.
While at Best Buy we discovered they had the DJ Hero Demo. So, duh, we had to test it out.

It definitely didn’t emulate a real DJ experience and you can only scratch right handed. The “mixer” is attached to the “turntable” so, if you like to scratch with your left hand you are out of luck. From the audience stand point its hard to grasp what is going on with the music. The game is kinda like Rock Band where what you do and the actual music is a little off. There is a cool function where you can mix and someone else can play the guitar. We did enjoy the music, some interesting mash ups…
Overall DJ Ant 1 says “I’m not feeling the fader. The fader needs to go. It’s fun though”
Our advice? Go to Best Buy, test it out and let us know what you think…
