our tech lead at work sends out an email to the entire office:

Subject: Mailbox defacing is a federal crime.I saw a group of detectives investigating a series of vandalism and graffiti crimes against local mailboxes.
The perpetrator always leaves a signature sticker – I took a photo of the sticker – because there is a $5000 reward to anyone who can help with the arrest and conviction of this dangerous criminal. If you recognize or know this person please call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS
