Kerin Rose

I met up with my WONDERFUL and LARGER THAN LIFE friend, Kerin =)

We caught up with each other’s busy lives as best we could and I was happy to learn that she’s well on her way to stardom. Kerin has finally dedicated more of her time toward a-morir, you may have seen her custom, handmade accessories in missbehave, new york post, or patricia fields (where you can find her working her toosh off a few days of the week)!

She even brought my second topper - LOVE! Can’t wait to wear it!

Keep your eyes peeled for this lady, seriously!

HomeRoom then… and now

Well, kinda lol. The trio that was the original HomeRoom Clothing

3rd Annual Kingpin Bowling @ Classic!

If I wasn’t able to see all the people I meant to see while back home for the holidays, this even was DEFINITELY the place to be for a one stop shot at saying my hello’s and goodbye’s to everyone!

FranBoogie (now one of our newest Fatlace bloggers) threw a huge even in which all brands/stores/promoters/etc came together from all around the bay area to compete with a bowl throwdown! But I’m sure, everyone was pretty much drunk waaaay before the actual bowling tourny began!

Stash x Lacoste recap!

Last night I enjoyed the company of old friends for an awesome occasion at Recon. My buddy Josh… er “Stash,” was premiering his collaboration with Lacoste! AMAZING! I’m really glad he took this move closing the gap between street and class… of course, this is purely my opinion. I have to give it up to Lacoste as well for doing their research well in order to take a huge step into this type of market. Wonder what else they have in store for the future??

Anywho, enjoy the photos!

L: Some previews of what Lacoste has in mind… | R: yours truly and Josh

Ever since I kinda “left” the industry, its been hard keeping up and in touch with a lot of my friends still holding it down out there. Not to mention that it is extremely rare that I get to see two of my most favorite people at the same time, usually its either/or depending on my mood (hahahahahha!): Lenny (errr.. Futura, as you can see, I have a hard time noting them by their aliases lol) and Josh.

Brief history check: met Lenny and Josh in SF in 2006 and ever since then, we’ve managed to all still remain friends through all our (perhaps only MY) ups and downs, but I can mostly say its been up and up! =) Love these guys and I don’t know what I’d do without them by my side… (awwwwww, shut it.)

I prefer the brown ones… what about you?

I also forgot to mention that Joe Hahn was there, within reach pretty much, but was too shy to say hello. =)

Hellz-Bellz Tour ASIA…

Macaframa premiere NYC

Sunday night, Johnny, Nish, BB and I headed over to where the old Trackstar used to be to watch the Macaframa movie =)

It was pretty awesome to see my hometown on the bigscreen and pushed my anxiety and excitement to return home for the Holidays (X-mas). The movie reminded me of watching a skate vid, especially with John Cardiel’s appearance - woohoo! James was also in the movie AND in attendance =)

The last time I watched a movie like this was last last summer with the MASH movie premiere here. The next day I thought I could fly as fast as all the guys in the movie and crashed on the Willy B bridge - hahahahahhahha! I laugh now, but it was a painful accident that left me unable to ride for about 2 months.

Anywho, check out the photos (more of ppl who were there than the actual event, sorry! LOL (also, not sure why some of my photos are looking “red”)

Alrighty, here are a few more shots from work… And more of the parade

Ohhh Katie, gotta love her for the effort!

And here’s a sneak peek of some action you can see after you click the “more” link…

Emma has the cutest British accent and her husband is Filipino =)

After work, a few of my co-workers and I headed out the Spring St for the start of the Halloween Parade. I didn’t know we were aiming to walk IN the parade, I thought we were just waiting in line to really just witness it =)

It was a TON of fun so check out the photos!

Happy Halloween!

I found my cow costume from 2 years ago… MOOOOOOO!

Also, my new job is AWESOME, these are my bosses and they went out to buy all the rest of my co-workers costumes to get us all in the spirit! puwahahahahaha!

Mark.Phil.MikeRelm.Anton.Pat all in one day???

YES! All my homies from back home just so happened to be around last Monday! Mark and Phillip are here on some swoosh shoot so I met up with them at 255 so we could go eat at Gyu-Kaku. Even Suzette made it out! yay!!!

After dinner, we re-congregated at Pier 17 at South Seaport to go to Spiegelworld (where I saw Raphael Saadiq that one time, *swoon*) to check out Mike Relm’s (so nice seeing you Mike!) show and it just so happened that Anton and Pat (Risky Bizness/WnKK) were helping him out during his tour. So YAY! lol
