This past weekend, Illest joined forces with Shoe Palace and Sneakyleak Pod to celebrate the launch of the Hoka Speed Goat 2. To bring the energy outside the venue, we curated a lineup of some of the illest cars in Los Angeles, setting the tone before you even stepped through the doors. Inside, the vibes carried on with live screen printing, shoelery, food, and a full bar—everything you’d expect from a proper community-driven celebration with friends and family all around.

What made the night special was the way sneaker and car culture came together. On the surface, they may seem like different lanes, but the DNA is the same, attention to detail, personal expression, and the drive to push things forward. Whether it’s lacing up the perfect pair or fine-tuning the perfect fitment, it’s all about passion and individuality.

For Illest, this event was more than just another collab, it was a chance to be back around our old block, reconnecting with the community that shaped us. It reminded us that these cultures, while different, speak the same language when brought together in the right way. Surrounded by friends, family, and supporters, it truly felt like home.

The Shoe Palace x Hoka Speed Goat 2 launch showed us what’s possible when we merge worlds authentically. It was a lit night from start to finish, and it feels like the beginning of something bigger. We’re looking forward to building more moments like this with Shoe Palace and continuing to grow where sneakers, cars, and culture all intersect.

Special thanks to MRKD Studios for capturing the night, to Shoe Palace for making it all happen, shoutout to Adrian, Mandy, Vivian, Carlos, Susy, and Will and to Abe and the rest of the car homies who pulled up and showed out with their rides. Couldn’t have done it without the community.
