Back in 8th grade, a friend of mine burned me a copy of “kamikaze” by twista. At the time he was famous for his lightning-fast flow and Kanye West-produced single: “overnight celebrity”.
After falling into obscurity for several years since, Twista makes a hugely impressive return to hip-hop. Slowing down his flow a bit, and enlisting the help of Raekwon the Chef, Twista releases this DOPE track: “the heat” The track is produced by NO ID, (Kanye’s mentor) and is harkens back to hip-hop’s golden age.
