Mercury Motorsport run by Trent and Tessa Whyte are a tuning powerhouse in my local city of Brisbane, Australia. Their personal car is better known by it’s number plate NITTO, an R34 GT-R that has been their test mule for many years and has been very impressive as they continued to develop it.
Recently however, they have just taken it to another level and since this was produced, they have reeled off an impressive 1134HP at the wheels. Not bad considering it is still road registered and street driven!
In full trim it has done the quarter in 9.6, being driven to the drag strip then driven home. It really is a work of art. I usually share my photography, but here is a little something I produced with my very talented colleague Phil Scanlan. I hope you enjoy it.
