This will be fun.
Why a bike?…Why cant it be rims!
Count me in for this!
I am very interested into this contest, however.. this image I seem feels its way too small if one were to be approved to be slapped on a real car. I’m I missing somewhere to download the real big image? Or is 962×622 the biggest resolution to work with?
Much appreciated.
actually it’s 1224 x 792
You’re gonna have to give us some more ammo. Like vector art for the car and some hookups on logos. Great idea though, can’t wait to submit!
nice!
should be fun 😀
Just a quick question, can non-us residents submit aswell?
same question as max.. will non-us residents be eligible for this contest? also what are the sponsors (if any)? higher resolution available?
thanks 🙂
Everyone is eligible. Winner will have to pay for shipping.
Hi again, sorry to bother. But as for my last question, is there any higher resolution to work worth? I feel the livery design for that small of a image won’t be able to be slapped on a car like that. Just seeing if we have any bigger images to work with, if not.. That’s fine with me. Makes work easier! (:
Thank you.
What are the car’s sponsors? or everything Fatlace?so we know what to put. thanks
So do we get more kudos if we free hand design this and not use Photoshop? Photoshop is cool and all, but I am digin’ old school free hand drawing. Feel me?
I agree, already sketching up multiples as we speak. feel better that way.
front view?
Sooo do we need to use all three vectors? or can we just use one?
Hellz yeah i’m game
Yo mine is somewhat inspired by an actual race car *outside of drifting*, will that be ok? *hint f1*
Oh hell yah I’m in!
ill give this a shot.
wait… no front to design???
Give us a vector to download please 🙂
stoked!!
you should be able to recreate the car with ease if you are able to create the vector art needed to produce the graphics for the wrap.
which program I can use to modify or paint the picture?
=O?
vector logos needed!?
sorry, can’t release our logos in vector. we’ll put together a few pngs of our logos.
ok i really want to do this but there are a few things im not really clear on forgive me if I’m just restating something yo already said but one how do i do the drawing through photoshop or some other program or can it be hand drawn?
no need for hi res image, it can be enlarged… I’m on this fatlace! =)
I did a design, but what are your sponsors?
you can put falken and STACK (vertical 3 logo).
waaaaaay ahead of ya.
This is a sick idea. On a more serious note a vector, or png, of the logos would definitely allow for better designs rather than dealing with stretched out crappy pixel versions of the logos that can be found on the web. Thanks.
or you can just draw it yourself, jusayin
or do both
Who’s the driver of this thing ? And is he from the USA ?
Hey Mark, could we add logos from Speedhunters, 7tune, and StanceWorks? That would be fantastic next to Falken logos…
can i use forza3 to draw it it up?
Yeah that would look really good. i would also like to know if we could use forza!!
if you upload it in illustrator and re-pen the lines you will get clear and fresh looking artwork easy to do and makes the work look professional i already started and came up with 5 already it may be tedious but in the end it all comes together i love things like this wish i could come out to the CA and check out the shop and studio would be my goal but its not my decision but any whos lets do the math download+illustrator x time=good works it should come natural guys.
It’s easier if you do the live trace option on illustrator
not likely it comes out very bad in most cases and plus if you do your own vector of it it will be easier to create patterns and change colors easier
only took a few minutes retracing with a vector software (Corel). Finished all my designs with Photoshop and submitted 2 while tweaking 4 more.
