This year was definitely a great year for Offset Kings. After throwing a successful event ,Slammed Society GU, last year at the Guam International Raceway, we definitely had to bring the showcase, labeled Offset Kings, back to the island this year. Our goal for this event was to create a venue, for the hiphop/bboy community, fashion, arts, and automotive enthusiasts, where we can all chill and showcase our passions and talents. Also to keep them fresh and help sustain these art forms on the island. Each art form has a connection to each other, so if you’re into at least one of these art forms, you’re probably into one or more of the others. If not, you were probably just there to sip on a monster and check out the chicks…lol. Oh yea, and the guys too… 🙂
On a serious note…we really like to thank our sponsors and everyone who came out to support our event this year. We are very humbled and grateful that we can be a part of the scene on the island. We are very happy that Guam is a part of our International showcase; the island definitely deserves to be on top the automotive map just like everyone else around the world. Thank you again.
Check out Pt.1 below.
Some pics around the island before the show.
Only 30 miles long. 12 miles wide. But definitely reppin worldwide.
A pic at Inarajan Pool with one of my best friends, Teru the Damaja, from Tokyo.
Back to the hotel for a quick photo shoot of the OKGU event shirts.
Back out on the road to check out our friends at Proline.
also a quick visit to check out Ed and the boys at Opake.
Checking out the crew shirts too…
Show coverage:
Phil and Brian Holding it down.
So awesome to see more VW’s come out this year. This Karmann Ghia had a big turbo sticking out the back
Such a fresh Integra. The Honda guys came out strong this year…
Vince always trying to cut in line. Again. JK. Vince has been apart of the Anfilms crew since day one, we still hang out the back of this wagon to get those low rolling shots. That’s how they do it in Hollywood, right? hehe.
Definitely function with a punch…
About half of the cars in and more to go…
Mini truck scene definitely put out some fresh rides this year. Great job guys.
Huge thanks to the classic car guys for coming out this year! These cars are immaculate.
All staged up and ready to go…
