There is nothing that beats the styling and presence of a Mazda RX-7 FD. It doesn’t matter what engine you have in there, it is a car you would keep for generations. Nearly 12 years since the FD was last in production, and it is still a dream car to many, while also a treat to see one tastefully modified. Such is the case with Joel Budano’s 1993 Silver Stone Metallic Mazda RX-7 FD.

We first met Joel’s car last year in 2012 at Slammed Society Irwindale as the first place best slammed winner.
He looked a bit different an entire year ago on 5zigen FNO1RCs: Look Here
Now in 2013, Joel came back to Slammed Society Irwindale with an updated look, which in our opinion he out did himself from 2012. So, it was no surprise he won third place best slammed once again.
Joel decided to give his front end an updated with a 99 spec front bumper, lip, and turn signals.

Rocking a nice set of Work VS-SS. 17×9.5 -3 front and 17×11 +8 rear.
The little things make for a big impact on detail. Shine Auto carbon fiber fender vents.

To complete the lower end of the rear with a Shine Auto Spec-RE street diffuser.

The Bakemono (Top Fuel) carbon fiber spoiler is such a nice piece, and adds a different spin to the usual FD rear end.

Peeking through in the picture is the BN Sport hood. Another nice touch.
