i don’t know where to start cause i can’t say enough good things about this dude. i’ve known this dude since he started drifting back in 2002? when i still had my buttonwillow ‘private-events’. he was just some young kid having some fun. he also help me with a few project of mine and i’m glad he’s still around drifting and having fun.

this event was the thunderdrift that i help judge last december which was pretty fucking fun. dude was having issues with his driving and he finally got it down at the end of the day which we rewarded his ass $25 bucks to wash his car with all the offroading he did, he needed it. but knowing he’s mexican, he saved himself $25 car wash.

it seems like im neglecting this blog, im really not. from the last few weeks ive been mad busy with everything.

last week jay and i decided to hit up qberts opening gallery and fatlace office happen to be next door so we just wanted to kick it and take a day off from work.

had tons of fotos of that night but because of all the shit i was trying to do somehow the fotos are gone from my computer. so im stealing fotos from ron and todd/courtney/ladylike.

no, i’m not talking about the supreme vol 5 book with rosa acosta spreading her wide eagle. i am talking about Stephen Bayley’s Cars: Freedom, Style, Sex, Power, Motion, Colour, Everything. i’ve been eyeing this book when i saw this a few times at barnes and noble while moving the bible to the fiction section but never really pulled the trigger. lucky me JPIZO got this shit for me as a xmas present.. he knows im trying to do something with my benzo and didn’t really know where to start so he got me this shit to find some kind of inspirational shit. Thanks Broski!

this book is dope, this shit is not about cars. well it kinda is but you really have to go through this book to understand it what stephen bayley means about cars: freedom, style, sex, power, motion, colour and everything. Tom Wolfe said of him “I don’t know anybody with more interesting observations about style, taste and contemporary design.” this is one of my fave cars in the book, ok im biased.

i always said i would never wear tapout, ed hardy, or affliction clothing, i feel like people that wear these are part of the masses of idiots unless you’re sponsored by one of these guys, wear it all you want. but you’re still a douche.

but that have change when mark have sent an email to everyone that we were going to participate the kingpin yearly bowling and we had to find a team theme, i suggested guido/bro’d out. he decided that we all wear tapout/mma clothing style. jaypizo and I already had mad ideas and it is one expensive custom. i never knew those shirts are $40+, really?

well at the event BROwling, we came out and BRO’d the fuck out. albert fatlace from tokyo came down to visit, dude is mad hilarious and i also brought party peter with me.

tell me we didn’t represent? fake tat sleeve, MAD serious with glasses and at night? MAD BRO.

a few people came down that we haven’t seen for awhile and also some new faces… this was a great way to close out the 2009 with the fatlace fam. it has been a great 2009 to be part of the fatlace crew, i really think this year was the best year for fatlace and i know for a fact that 2010 will be even bigger.

shot out to ronnie and mark for letting me fuck up and talk all the shit on the stayfresh blog…  also it wouldn’t be complete without a video from iphilms…

me and the boys decided to go karting last minute. the weather that day was fucking crazy, i almost didn’t wanna go.

the great thing about going to gokart racer is we know people so if we were to hit each other we won’t get no flag here. here is our friend joe face, he runs this place.

before the race, i was reading the Top Of The Day Walk-Ins and it wasn’t that great of a time. so i wanted to break the best time of the day and i did it. once i broke the time of the day (you can see it on the screen while racing) i slowed down. i was also ahead of everyone but since there was only 4 of us on the track it got really boring, it’s has been awhile also since we went karting and my hands were fucking hurting. i slowed down and waited for everyone else and then let everyone pass me, hence the 4th / last place. what really surprise me is barryballin’ beating jpizo, HAHA!

afterward we hit our spot and ate some more since barry baller was hungry.

Can you spot me? (In the little scooter) I don’t know where to begin on this but I was looking through old fotos that a friend of mine took back in 2002 where we didn’t have digital cameras yet, Daniel Kwan was in school for Photography at the time and he’s move on to bigger and better things. I usually dislike talking about the past but its great seeing old stuff like this, makes you look back how dumb and retarded kids we were, and still are.
