I wouldnt mind tearing down our house and slapping in a couple of prefabs. The old days of building homes is over. Being conscious of the environment, using sustainable wood like maple or cane, and going green seems to be the way to go. In anycase, modulars have been satisfying alot of people with green in mind.
What I’d like to know is who was more high thinking this one up. Kanye or Spike? Creating something like this takes quite the imagination and hats off. Definitely can relate to some scenes and I’m sure it’s going on in Kanye’s head every day.
We really need to host something here in the states. Hopefully in 2010, we will be able to.
Leading up to Hellaflush 3, an event we put on to show our love for cars and their owners obsession with having the correct offset, I was a bit more excited for this event than our 10 Year Party. It’s cause I’m a huge fan of the automobile and Fatlace is going to be around for many more years…
Chris from Alpinestars hit me up and cruised by to shoot video and capture sound files for a video they’re making for Apex Initiative the day before and timed it so they cruised by the show as well. What amazed me the most was the amount of people that cruised by the show. I would guestimate approximately 1500 people throughout the day. At one point in the show, I saw a sea of people and thought, whoa.. this is amazing.
So we had grand plans for a 10 Year Party. At one time, I contacted Wale’s camp to bring them out to Japan so we could have part 2 of our 10 Year Party there. With the new baby due any day now, I had to alter plans and really wanted to celebrate with close friends and family. Thanks to everyone that came out to the Store and to the Lounge. I’m very happy to have such a great network of friends that help support this vision.

Alpinestars came to visit this weekend. We’re working on something and passed by the S14 at DGR Performance to see where we’re at with the build. Here’s a ton of photos from the visit.
The kit is only clear taped mocked up. It’ll be bolted thru this week and then riveted after paint.
John and Kenta came up from LA and Tokyo for the event and rolled with us to check out the 14.
