This weekend was a busy one so I’ll just put everything in one post. Thanks for looking!
Saturday afternoon the family & I headed out to Bell’s Boulevard Burgers to attend the Maniacos Car Club 1st annual toy drive. Maniacos was able to secure an appearance by Chiquis from the Mun2 network hit show “Jenni Rivera Presents Chiquis & Raq-C”. If you’ve never seen the show, it is a reality show based on the lives of Jenni Rivera’s oldest daughter Janney aka “Chiquis” and her friend Los Angeles radio personality Raq-C. The first season of the show was a huge it and the second season should start production shortly. Chiquis and her friends brought a huge donation of toys for the children of Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.
Mun2 set up a booth for Chiquis to sign posters and photos.
We walked her around the event a took a few shots of her with some of the cars.
Here she is with the Maniacos Car Club.
Here are some of the cars from around the show.
My friends from State Farm Insurance. Nice tee Fabian!
Danny D killed it on this SUV! It has been taking trophies all year!
I’ll end the show coverage with a nice and clean Lowrider bike. Congrats to the Maniacos CC on a great event!
Look for a full feature in a future Lowrider Magazine.
Saturday night Stephanie & I drove down to the Westside to cover the Classic Lowriders Car Club 30th Anniversary event. The banquet was held at Marriott in Marina Del Rey and there was a great turnout from the club and their invited guests like Pharaohs CC, Lifestyle and Viejitos CC. We will have a full recap of the night in a future issue of Lowrider Magazine. Thanks to Joey, Alex and the club for the invite and hospitality.
Sunday morning we headed to Santa Ana to cover the Santana CC Car Show & Fundraiser for Lowrider Magazine coverage. The turnout was great and we got to see alot of familiar faces. Stephanie & I fought the sun all day trying to get our shots but in the end we succeeded. Look for a full wrap up in a future issue of Lowrider Magazine.
the best thing about that gallery was the Busa…kinda the wrong demographic here.
Thanks for the comment Z-Monster. I am not trying to target any demographic. I use Fatlace to share my automotive and life experiences.
sorry man, gotcha! keep rollin’
bueno… if it wasn’t for the lowrider community would we wouldn’t have hellaflush (not completely but it plays a huge role) .. that “demo” created allot for us .. and fatlace is a home for anything 4 wheels and 2, and 3 hell one … lol .. just my 2 cents ..
@Z-Monster ~ No worries. Again, appreciate the feedback.
@ernie ~ I agree, Lowriding has influenced and been influenced by other car cultures. Yes, Fatlace is home to anything on wheels weather is has one two or 18! 🙂 Thanks for the comment.
