The. Collection.

Last night, Manila’s top sneaker connoisseur/art maestro/hardcore collector, Bigboy Cheng showed his collection via Sole Academy’s Think Tank. Internationally renowned for one-offs, early access to “grailed” sneakers and all things Supreme, BB selected to exhibit close to 600 pairs via an invite-only event.

Here are some of the photos from SA x SF Sneaker Exhibit.

Carefully curated by the SA Team, the sneakers on display were chosen by style and significance to world of sneakers.

This wall can say it all. Bigboy started earlier than most in the sneaker game,  check out some of his Dunks and AF1s. My personal favorite from that night are the 3D Runners. Nice to see those Flyknit Tokyo 2020 Racers – which is limited to a hundred pairs.   An ASSC x AF1 (24 piece release in ComplexCon) makes in way to Philippines shores. Neek and his brand holds a special place here at Fatlace as he was a blog contributor too. Possibly my favorite sneaker collaboration of all time, the atmos AM1 “Elephant”.  No introduction needed. Bigboy recently unveiled his 1/1 Nike Bespokes in the form of AF1s. A special program of the Swoosh, the Bespoke is a higher level of NikeID which includes a special 1 on 1 consultation with a designer. These are upon appointment at NikeLab NYC or London.

 I believe Bigboy had 5 1/1s?

2 Nike Mags were on display including a self-lacing one.

Good to see some of my friends from the community as well.

What’s good is that the sneaker exhibit will be open for 3 weeks starting today, May 13. The exhibit will at the #ThinkTankBySA featuring 1 theme per week from music-inspired sneakers, collabs, and tech pieces.

Hope you enjoyed this post.
