And, here I am, writing another post just because I was in the right place at the right time. I happened to be in Chicago the weekend of the CREWS show – a local Chicago event that is run by Morris and his crew to help promote the scene and give a place for people to show off their hard work when there isn’t a major show in town.
It was definitely a little farther out driving to Lombard. Was it worth the trip? Well, I got to check out the Chicago car scene (at least a taste of it), meet amazing people, and spend time around what I love most. I’d say it was time well spent.
There really isn’t much to say. The quality of the cars for a show like this was a good turn out with cars filling a good amount of the parking lot. Morris informed me that a lot of their heavy hitters were out of commission or under construction which is always understandable. I had a lot of cars catch my eye and, hands down, my favorite car was the RS.
Enjoy!
