It’s finally out.. Frank Ocean’s Nikes video. I say finally cause everyone’s been waiting for Frank to release his album to drop cause it’s been delayed like forever, right?

Let me rewind back to September 2014. I get an email from a good friend Emily Sawamura (former Nike co-worker who’s just as passionate about cars than I am) about a trip she was taking with Frank Ocean. She told me that he wanted to visit some car shops and visit and possibly borrow some RWBs for a shoot. I connected her with my good friend Toshi Ichiraku, who just happens to be the director of RWB Worldwide. They talked, met with Nakai, borrowed some Porsches, checked out more cars, filmed a video and two years later it drops.

Anyways, a ton of people hit me up about the album cover cause it had Frank wearing a racing helmet with the words RAUH-Welt Begriff. When I first saw it, I knew right away it was Toshi’s and I immediately texted it to Toshi and he was pretty stoked to see it on the album cover. On a side note… I shipped Frank my personal Blue RWB gloves and still waiting for them to show up in the mail, I’m uncertain that day will come but I guess it’s kinda cool he’s got them.
