Lexus has introduced their 2016 GS line-up of vehicles and new 2016 LX 570 this weekend during the Concours d’ Elegance. The bold new designs intermixed with the classics showcased at Pebble Beach all have one thing in common – luxury.
Let’s start with the new 2016 GS, which will come in a new GS 200t rear-wheel drive model, to join the GS 350, and GS 450h. The mid-size luxury sedan features sporty handling, engaging performance, and luxurious amenities that Lexus is known for.
The new GS 200t is the latest version to join the GS model line-up and features a 241-hp, 2.0 liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine and eight-speed automatic transmission. The GS 350 gains more horsepower now up to 311hp from the 3.5-liter V6. All models have a new restyled front end with a bolder Lexus spindle grille and Bi-LED headlights, and revised tail lamps and rear bumper treatments. Inside the vehicle is highlighted by a larger 4.2-inch multi-information display, full screen map capability on the 12.3-inch central display screen, and more upgraded multimedia technology.
The new LX 570 comes equipped with a powerful V8, sophisticated 4WD chassis and seating for eight, and combines sumptuous luxury with true off-road capability.
The 2016 LX 570 features a redesigned exterior with one-piece spindle grille, eight-speed automatic transmission, more safety features, upgraded 12.3-inch screen and remote touch interface, and head-up display.
