So what do you do when you are obsessed with V.I.P. cars and own a WRX? Well Ryan’s answer to this question was to build a one off body kit for his WRX.
After a few sets of wheels with the “stock” body, he decided it was time to apply his love of low and wide V.I.P. cars to his WRX. The first thing he needed to do was chop up his fenders and then rebuild them from the ground up.
Once he cut up his car, he came up with a plan to use MK4 Jetta fenders to make his widebody kit.
Ryan was only able to work on his car in his free time since he is a full time student and was building this car for himself and no one else. But after a few months of welding, cutting, re-welding, and bodywork it was finally time to get wrapped.
Ryan took his car to be wrapped at CLDesigns.
Below is a short video my friend Scott McLelland put together on his car.

Ryan’s WRX is a truly love/hate car. I will be meeting up with him soon to do a full feature shoot for the site, so make sure you keep an eye out for it.
