Every so often I venture out to Osaka to visit friends and explore the countryside. This time a friend invited me to be a part of their TV show as a guest and film at the Suntory Distillery in Osaka. I’ll have a post about that experience in a few days.

This post is about friends I’ve known since we had our Fatlace Store in San Francisco. Rene & Saya from Giracha have been our good friends for a while and have been in the bike scene since forever. Their store in Osaka is amazing and full of authentic NJS bikes as well as prototypes of their own bikes made in Japan. Unfortunately, they’ll be shutting this location down at the end of the year but look out for their new shop when they relocate.
