Last week, Akira Nakai of Rauh Welt Begriff was in town to build Manila’s 5th RWB. I dropped its home base ‘Car Porn Racing‘, to shoot some photos for the site. Enjoy.

Its almost been a year that Manila streets had a taste of Nakai-San’s touch, RWB Victoria.

Its Nakai-San’s 4th trip to Manila and his network in the local car scene keeps on growing.

As a major of Industrial Design, I am honored to share basic design ideas with Nakai-San.

That iconic “Idlers” tire stencil.

Everyone was amazed on how the wheel/tire combo sits.

Nakai built the car in less than 3 days. The ambiance of the build also reminded me of  LTMW’s meet for the legendary Japanese tuner.

StopTech was the brake set-up for the car its also the 4th RWB in Manila to run AccuAir Suspension.

The paint job was perfect as it was entrusted to Manila’s most prestige paint shop, Alex Car Restoration.

The shade of green (Porsche Viper Green?) is one of my favorite shades on the RS.

 

Nakai-San meticulously checked clearance issues on all sides.

It was also the perfect time to shoot some of Car Porn Racing’s builds which includes widebody Bimmers, RWB’s and a V8 Ae86. Stay tuned for a close look at these builds. Til next time.
