When you decide to slam your ride, you end up learning new driving skills and awareness about things that most drivers don’t care about. Angling up driveways and deciding if you can make it up a speed bump are other things that become second nature. You end up memorizing every imperfection on the road. I have a lot of respect for people who drive hundreds of miles to make it to a meet.
This was Suzie’s dumped and flush STI. Drove all the way to LA from Nor Cal. This is how close it was to the ground.
Props to all you slammed drivers out there!
This is so true! I know every dip, crack, hump, etc. on my daily commutes. There are streets I will never go down and rather go the long way!
I google map my routes before I leave or I go in someone else’s car first to view the road and steepness of driveways. Although my car isn’t slammed my I would hate to destroy my aero.
I agree. Daily driving Slammed FTW!
also add when you do know where the unavoidable bumps are you always know that spot thats “just right”
just got my second slammed car, low is a lifestyle. you just learn with the car. first one is a 64 chevy c-10 not more than inches from the ground. now im all honda’ed out with my 96 ej8, not low enough yet 🙂 i dont scrape lip 😉
