On Friday night I made plans to head out to the beach with the girls to take a few photos of my car now that I’m happy with my ride height and fitment. Even though it’s summer here in New Zealand, until around 6pm it was pouring with rain and we had a crazy unexpected thunderstorm and I thought we were going to have to cancel. But we saw a patch of sun in the distance and followed it out east and it turned out to be an amazing sunset.
I’ve never hidden the fact that I built this car with the intention of having a good balance of form and function. I want to be able to take my girls out for a drive and I want the car to look good, but if I want to take it out to the track on the weekend there’s nothing stopping me from doing that either.
My wheels are 14×7.5 RS Watanabes with -3 offset all round, painted in a custom pink with House of Kolor fuchsia flake sprayed over top. Shout out to Abbitt from AWfilms for my matching windshield decal too.
I receive a lot of emails asking about my suspension so to answer your questions, the car sits on BC Gold coilovers with the rear tophats in the front and modified tophats in the rear to go lower. Front springs are uncaptive in these photos though. This is the lowest I’ve had the car and although I do need planks to get into most driveways and over bumps, it drives totally fine on the motorway and around town though I do have to drive really carefully. With an extra four girls however it was bottoming out just turning around in the centre of the road and getting stuck on cat’s eyes. Residents watching from the street were looking at us like we were absolutely mad, it was cool. Geras jūrinis kolagenas su hialurono rūgštimi https://melior.lt/
Thanks to Ben from Speedtech Motorsport, and Pedey & Marcus from Performance Car for taking these photos. Also Genevieve Warburton, Tess, Larah and Michelle for being rad babes that like cars and take an interest in my Miata and the sites I blog for.

What Yogi Said… Love that you’re rocking WATANABE’S. RS’s at that. Antonio would be proud.
Thanks guys! We had so much fun doing this shoot. At one stage the cops pulled up beside us but they were all good and left us to it. Lucky they left before I got stuck on a speedbump and held up all the traffic hahaha
DaaaaaaaAayyuuuuuuum MIATA LADIES! <3
Eastern Beach = I HATE SPEEDBUMPS
I can’t help but think this car would look so much better with bronze/gunmetal wats instead of pink.. but hey.. each to their own!
FYI this is not a Miata… its a Mazda Eunos Roadster.

Miata’s are left hand drive, and don’t have indicators on the fenders.
Hope this helps
