For the past few years, I’ve had the pleasure and stress that goes along with building a project vehicle. Taking on a commitment such as this requires plenty of planning, organization and most of all patience. Many may think that getting a vehicle from a manufacturer is an easy undertaking, but far from it as it requires a solid proposal, marketing plan and rendering. Part of the planning process is done months in advance of receiving the vehicle and by the time the vehicle arrives the concept is set and for the most part you must stick the original plan of action under your contract. This year was my first year to work with Hyundai and I’m proud to be able to do so. My original plan for the vehicle was slightly changed due to the short time frame to complete the build, roughly 4 and half weeks. Luckily, I was able to count on multiple people and my sponsors to help make this project car come to life in such as short time frame and for that reason I wanted to showcase their products before anything else as it is what sets the vehicle apart.
