Last weekend, Japan’s car scene came alive with the latest Slammed Society event, a day packed with incredible rides and a whole lot of passion. Our Illest JP team did an amazing job hosting, and we want to give a special shoutout to Ikura’s Amefess Girls for coming out and hanging with the crew—it made the day even more memorable!

Created by Mark Arcenal and the original members of Fatlace and Illest, the concept kicked off in 2012 in Japan. What started as a local gathering quickly grew into a highly anticipated event, spreading its influence to the U.S. and beyond. Slammed Society introduced a fresh vibe, blending style, stance, and a love for cars in a way that had never been seen before. The event brought a certain swag to the car scene, with stance culture, low-slung cars, and aggressive setups becoming defining features. Japan’s car culture, known for its creativity and diversity, was on full display, from iconic JDM rides to artfully crafted low riders. This year’s event was a perfect showcase of why Japan remains a powerhouse in the car world. As Slammed Society continues to grow, it remains a cornerstone of the global car community, bringing enthusiasts together to celebrate the culture and the shared passion that connects us all.
