Back in the 80’s, Porsche had a special division wherein you can personalize and spec your Porsche based on your personal taste. It was called the sonderwunsch programm. (which means “Special Wish”)
Fast forward to 2019, Alfredo Roa of Garage 2233 & Sonderwunsch Manila brings the concept back and renders personal touch to every build.
Let’s start with the engine. Master Porsche Technician Christian Treiber built a naturally aspirated with original RSR magnesium ITBs. Powered by a 4.0L flat six pushing 400hp. Hand built exhaust headers with Capristo valves giving you a choice to cruise the neighborhood or open pipes to let out backfire.
Engine:
Engineered 4.0L crankshaft
Performance Mahle pistons
Machined cylinder heads
Larger valves
Motorsport camshafts
Custom short ratio 6-speed transmission
GT3 oil pump
Motorsport oil cooler
At the braking and handling department, Bilstein PSS10 system ensures its stability while driven to the limit and is complimented with BBi Autosport Uprights to get that crisp steering response,
A set of Giro Disc 2pc front rotors doesn’t just help the Porsche’s braking performance, it also help shed some unsprung weight for it being lighter than factory pieces.
These Speedline wheels looks proper in this Porsche build.
For this build they wanted to preserve the original interior from factory. What makes this Porsche visually striking is the engine bay and front compartment accent that features quilted red leather liners in diamond pattern which are all made by hand.
