The homies at Pure 4×4 have been putting on the dopest off-road/overland event on the West Coast for a few years now. This past Sunday concluded the third iteration of the Basecamp outing and camping trip. Dozens of heavily equipped machines came from all over for a weekend of fun at Big Bear Lake. The locale is perfect for trail riding along with a plethora of other outdoor activities to partake in.

We got up early Friday morning and packed up our camping gear and vendor booth before meeting up with Mint Co Imports & JW Offroad. His Nissan Safari was loaded up and we all convoyed 100 miles north of Los Angeles to kick things off. When we arrived the obligatory unpacking process ensued and we quite literally set up camp.

Over the next three days we enjoyed multiple expeditions around the area and put the trucks to the test on some rather rugged and technical terrain. No major mishaps occurred and everyone had a blast. When Sunday finally came around it was time to break down our sites and head home. The killer weather, awesome people, and rad rides all made for an incredible time and we can’t thank Pure 4×4 enough for hosting us again!
