When the Dodgers brought home their latest World Series title, Los Angeles proved, once again, what this city is made of. Even with everything going on lately, LA still showed up. The city still found a way to celebrate. And our content contributor, RJ Salsedo, was right there at the parade capturing the heart of it all.

The energy hit different. People rolled out from every corner of the city, fans, families, car crews, and day-ones who’ve been riding with the Dodgers forever. Despite the chaos, despite the noise, LA stood together in blue. That’s what makes this city powerful.

RJ caught the moments that define us: low riders creeping through the crowd, kids waving signs like trophies, flags flying out of windows, and strangers connecting over one shared win. It wasn’t just a parade, it was LA choosing pride over pressure, community over the craziness, and joy over everything trying to weigh us down.

From my perspective, that’s the real story. A Dodgers championship isn’t just another title. It’s a reminder of LA’s spirit. We don’t break, we unite. We show up. We celebrate our own.
This win became part of the city’s DNA the moment that trophy was lifted. And we’ll keep carrying it forward, the way LA always does.
