The recent “In the Circle” event, presented by Rock Force Crew, Vans, and Monster Energy, brought Long Beach to life with a fusion of street culture, dance, and action sports. A huge shoutout to Donovan for connecting us to this amazing experience, which showcased the thriving breaking community and its vibrant energy.
As soon as you entered the event, you were greeted by BMX riders pulling off insane tricks like backflips, right next to a taco stand serving some of the most mouthwatering tacos around. The excitement continued as you explored further and found an indoor space buzzing with energy. There were two dance stages: one for the community, where dancers of all ages came together for friendly battles, and the main stage, where pop-ups from Monster and Vans added to the event’s lively atmosphere.
What made “In the Circle” truly special was the breaking community. From beginners to seasoned pros, dancers showcased their unique styles and raw talent, reminding everyone of the power and creativity within this culture. Each dancer brought their best to the floor, creating an unforgettable atmosphere of passion, skill, and respect.
It was an incredible day of BMX, breaking, and community, all under one roof—highlighting the deep connection between street culture and creativity. Thanks again to Donovan and everyone who made it happen at Thunder Studios!
