Our recent trip to New York was more than just a visit it was a full-circle moment. We had the honor of witnessing our good friend Daniel‘s RWB build—RWB Queens—come to life at the RX2 Expo during the New York Auto Show, a milestone that meant so much to everyone involved.
Daniel has been a day-one supporter of Illest and Fatlace—someone who’s always believed in the culture, the vision, and the community we’ve built over the years. Seeing his dedication come full circle with Nakai-san personally building his RWB on the show floor was something special. For anyone who understands car culture, this wasn’t just another widebody Porsche being put together—it was a symbol of loyalty, passion, and years of commitment finally realized on one of the biggest stages in the world.
Watching Nakai-san work is always an experience—methodical, patient, and precise. It’s art in motion. And having that happen live in NYC, surrounded by family, friends, and fellow enthusiasts, created an atmosphere that was inspring. The build itself became more than just a car—it became a centerpiece that brought the city’s diverse car scene together.
The East Coast community showed out heavy. We got to link with homies we’ve known for years, some we hadn’t seen in a long time. That’s the beautiful thing about this culture, it’s not just about the cars, it’s about the people behind them. It’s about connection. And when something like this happens, it pulls everyone in. The streets, the showrooms, the side conversations, the late-night hangs—it all becomes one big celebration of creativity, expression, and respect.
Major shoutout to the whole crew that made it even more special, Edwin and Pravan from Prime NYC, Vin, Calvin, Brian from Crowns Speed, and Joe from the RWB group. The energy you brought, the support, and the love for the culture—it’s what keeps this movement alive.
Huge props again to Daniel and his family for letting us be part of this chapter. RWB Queens is not just a build—it’s a statement. Thank you for the years of support and loyalty to Illest and Fatlace. And to the entire RWB family—you already know, it’s always love.
We can’t wait to keep building together—literally and figuratively. More projects are coming. More stories to tell. And more moments to share with the community that’s made all of this possible.
Stay tuned for more updates—we’re planning to do more activations in New York this year. If this trip was any indication, the energy is there, the culture is alive, and the future is looking real exciting.
