Yes this story is prettying interesting cause Ken Block’s story just gets better and better. From Skateboarding to co-owning DC Shoes to World Rally and now Formula 1. A cinderella story indeed.
Ken is going to be testing out an older F1 Car, a 700hp Toyota F1 Car from 2009 with 2011 specs at Monza next weekend. He’ll get two days of testing first, with the help of Pirelli driver Lucas di Grassi.
However the outcome I’m pretty pumped about the opportunity for him. Congrats.

it will be nice to bring an American to the table with f1 coming in 2012 in texas
crazy. I met Ken Block at Northstar at Tahoe HELLA long ago when he was only getting DC up and goin. For sure a good dude, down to earth, and livin the dream.
are you sure he wont drift around them corners?
ahahahaha!!!
i like this. f1 in states with him at the wheel is anyone else thinking of a trip to texas soon?
will he crash this too? i don’t see what the big deal is he’s just testing the car out he isn’t competing in it. no one in their right mind would let him do that….
Wish I got the same chance.
yah really people. hes not competing in f1.. hes test driving..
hes shit at rallying, no way anyone would pay him to drive in f1, even as a pay driver! nobody would fork over a f1 car in a real race.
f1 and rallying are two very different world. and failing at rally doesnt aid him.
Super stoked for Ken!
Whats funny to me is that people are saying he’s “failing” at WRC alot of his issues are technical with the vehicle, 1st year doing a full WRC season has it’s growing pains which include gathering recce notes and what not, YET get this he’s the 2ND EVER American to receive WRC points…
He’s a great guy that is living the dream but it’s a reality by his own hard work and smart decisions.
Straight up Jarod. TRUF.
yea stop the hate, its tough to rally and f1 isnt any easier. get off kens nuts.
