Long overdue but if this were a print company, we’d just be coming out with it now.. Anyways, every year I plan our annual Slammed Society event in Japan around F1. Reason being is I’m a HUGE F1 fan and going to Suzuka Circuit has become a ritual I dont ever want to stop.

The event was awesome as usual and a very big thank you goes out to Red Bull Racing for the lovely hotel room and premier passes to the event. In the end, Sebastian Vettel won the race while Kumui Kobayashi did the country proud with the 3rd place finish. Commentary on the photos below.

On the way to F1 Suzuka, you see so many dedicated fans. Its amazing.

Kenta was our host to this years F1. He does PR and communications for Red Bull Racing.

The DB9.

Suzuka hosts a pretty nice amusement park in the track.

C63 Estate Pace car. This thing is a monster!

Got to the track super early and walked around the pit area. Here’s Team Lotus’ garage.

And Mclaren..

Had some breakfast at RBR’s team hospitality.

Look who walked in.. it’s 3 Time F1 World Champ, Niki Lauda

The Ferrari Bots walking in..

All the Team Bosses huddling for a meeting before the race started.

Took a snap with my good friend Tohyama, editor for Motorhead Magazine.

One of the slower teams on the grid, Caterham.. but they still make awesome power.

Williams had alot of potential this year but I felt the drivers were too inexperienced and Pastor made some terrible mistakes.

The tunnel back to where the crowd is.

Whoa! lots of people on this side.

There was a concert of some sort. A sea of red.

Honda displayed all their F1 cars throughout the years.

Crazy Kobayashi fan here!

Another Superfan.

Awesome to see the kids all into it as well.

Of course everyone got tired. An hour still til the first race.

SLS x C63 Estate pace cars. Amazing sound.

Grabbed our Grandstand Seats with a HUGE TV in front of us. The previous years I was only able to watch from the garages. Trust me, it was awesome to be that close but its practically impossible to watch the race and know whats happening unless you had a headset on the entire time.

There was a Porsche Cup Gentlemans race before the main event.

Finally.. Lewis going down the straight. I couldnt capture speed shots with the leica. Next time..
