The current issue of DUB magazine features the ID Agency Lincoln MKX on the cover including an in-depth interview with designer James Bond of Undefeated and photographer Estevan Oriol. It’s been a great experience to work with James on this project and I was able to really get to know him and understand his design philosophies. I hope to work on more projects together in the future. I was equally excited to have Estevan shoot the vehicle for the magazine. When we first built this car we wanted it to represent who we are and where we live and thus the “Urban Assault Vehicle” theme and nothing says LA more than UNDFTD x Estevan Oriol.
The article is a great read and gives some insight to the design and more information on James including his thoughts on the sneaker game. Estevan also gave his thoughts on the build and what he’s been currently up to.
Overall, I’m very proud of this build and this article. A few quotes made it in as well as a couple of the photos I shot…I’ll be sure to post a few extra photos soon.
Be sure to grab a copy.
Atta boy John P, James & EO… Now drive the piss out of that thing!
Great article. I would’ve thought that this build would’ve been a better look on an Edge, but Tomato Tomato, I suppose. Wait. I just realized that phrase doesn’t really transfer well over type. lol. Anywho, build is sick btw. I followed it on the ID blog and was impressed the entire way.
Thanks man…reason for MKX was that it has a few more luxuries than the Edge and might as well have all the perks when driving.
best MKX I’ve ever seen!
Thank you sir!
