So what really happens on a Saturday night when nostalgic cars meet? Last April 16, I attended the Sushi Factory Meet and Run. Held for the 16th time, this meet was different. It was an invite-only late night Skyway run.

Unfortunately my camera had its own way of thinking. The lens was just not working as it used to be resulting to these grainy photos.

Jeiven Perez aka Sushi Factory brought his demo car,  a 71 Celica.

This Ta22 has to be one of the most e-famous cars in our country. Dubbed as ‘Natsuki’, this Celica cemented its presence in the Philippine car scene.

We’ve been planning on shooting the car for a full feature but our schedules never. This needs to happen very soon.

Aurick Go brought his newly acquired FD Rx-7, one of the few good running examples here.

A car of a good friend that we’ve been working on as a project was driven by Jordan Reyes that night.

Zander Rosario brought his X80 Cressida which he is closely working on.

My good friend Iori Suzuki from Japan was present with his Mr2 built for the track. Those Modena Autostrada‘s give the car so much character.

Stickers serve as honoring friends in the industry.

His friends from Club MR2 were also present.

 

One of my favorites at the meet; an E30 with a S52 engine . The wagon was cruising at high speeds with ease.
