RWB PDX

Been a little over a year since I’ve fallen off of the blogosphere, but I had to dust off my account login to post up a recap of my first RWB build experience last weekend. Aside from witnessing Nakai at work, what was almost more awesome was connecting and reconnecting with fellow enthusiasts from all…

BMW Centennial Celebration

Last weekend, America’s Car Museum in Tacoma, WA hosted a BMW Centennial Celebration so we braved the elements on the drive up to the rain or shine event which showcased over 350 cars from all over the Pacific Northwest. Here were some of my favorites 🙂 And one of our trusty little co-driver 😀

Deadstock Coffee

Ian Williams is a Fatlace regular, with a Tastemakers feature and a post on his Deadstock Pop-Up last year. Although it’s only been a short time since the official brick and mortar store opened its doors for business, Deadstock Coffee and Gallery has received much love from Portland locals and the online community (i.e. Complex, Chris Brown, etc.).  So if you’re…

Portland Auto Show 2016

Last week we escaped suburbia to explore the next Seventh Wonder of the Oregon on our list, the Painted Hills! We had the crazy idea to do this 9 hour round trip adventure in one day, which made for an extremely long one…so here are some words of wisdom from our experience: Go during summer…

Explore PNW

Last weekend, we drove 2 hours in torrential rain and braved the frigid wind at Cape Kiwanda…but it was all worth it because of the great company of everyone who came out to the Mighty Killers x Pacific Northwest Wonderland hosted event Explore PNW. Unfortunately we didn’t make it all the way to the edge…

Forest For The Trees & Beyond

For the past few years, I’ve been lucky to witnesses first hand the growth of Pow Wow Hawaii from a local neighborhood event on Oahu to now adding color and life to walls internationally in various events throughout America and Asia. Coinciding with our move from Hawaii to Portland, I asked Jasper and Amy if…
