It’s Monday! And what better way to start the morning off with something a little dance-y?!?! And my perfect soundtrack for that is LCD Soundsystem. James Murphy is a music producer and co-founder of DFA Records, who uses the stage name LCD Soundsystem for his musical project that formed in 2001. The project’s popularity grew after tracks like “Losing My Edge” and “Daft Punk is Playing at My House” gained notoriety in the underground dance scene, eventually leading to a promotional track “45:33” with Nike and iTunes, as well as multiple Grammys. On May 17th, LCD released their album “This is Happening” which upon James Murphy stated it’s definitely better than the other two and it will most likely be their last album. Currently LCD Soundsystem is on tour, so if you get the chance I suggest you grab tickets and check them out. You won’t be disappointed! Enjoy the videos and tracks available for download.
