The first memory I have of being a sports fan of ANY sport is being a Niner fan.
Since the early Eighties I recall going to Lola and Lolo’s house every Sunday during football season to join the entire family in rooting on our beloved Red and Gold team.
The noisy house full of Aunts, Uncles, kids, heaps of food and Lolo in his second skin Gold Starter Niner jacket solidified my love for the 49ers….forever.
And with five Super Bowl trophies to our name, Hall of Famers Joe Montana, Jerry Rice, Ronnie Lott, Bill Walsh and Steve Young,
and the only NFL team in history to NEVER lose a Super Bowl…how can I not be?
