Automotive balance is relative to a number of things. Engine size, tire size, weight and in the case of this little 1953 Porsche coupe, the thickness of the steering wheel. I always say that you can tell how fast to drive a Porsche by the thickness of the steering wheel, Its a funny thing, but really the balance of this little car is not much different that what I drove at the Pikes Peak Hillclimb this year. Its all relative. These skinny little tires and this sub 60 horsepower engine gives somewhat the same feel as the GT3 Cup Car. You settle in and grab ahold of that skinny little steering wheel…. and you just know.

Great point. Not sure if it only applies to Porsches, but I like it none-the-less. Thick steering wheels FTW.
I’m kinda really in love with this car, thanks Jeff!
