The 75th Annual Nisei Festival and Parade was the #ILLEST! Unlike most of what we experience for the first time, this Nisei Festival was actually both entertaining and a pleasure to be a part of! Nisei Fest consists of musical performances, cultural dance showcases, exclusive Nisei-only eats, car-show and my personal favorite; Parade! As our street within Little Tokyo started to get blocked off for the festivities, the #ILLESTLA team and I were fortunate to get VIP front row seats, or should I say standing on our store’s bench, lol, don’t tell Mark. Seriously.
Anyway, We enjoyed seeing War Veterans, the winners of the weekend car show, cosplayers, community representatives and last but not least the LAAAADIES participating in the Nisei Beauty Pageant!
