The first generation Honda CR-V was a major hit in the Philippines. It was the best seller in its class during its 1998 launch. While the platform is seldomly modified except for its B20 engine, Filipino’s see it as a family hauler. My friend Pipo had a different perspective as he wanted his daily driver to stand out from the rest. Check out the photos.

The entry-level SUV was ‘branded’ into a practical family hauler. He said he could still manage to fit 5 people inside the car.

Pipo sourced out the hood-bra from Los Angeles. Contrast.

Wheel choice are 17×9 offset 14 Racing Hart Attack’s.

While these type of wheels are limited to our country he fitted his spare tire with steelies as he couldn’t find an extra piece.

Pipo also rolls with the Manila Fitted, he is also a huge fan of the Illest brand.

Static.

Happy with the outcome of the photos. A bit grainy but this will do for now.

The car is currently parted out as I speak; he said it’s time to move on and build another car.

Hope you enjoyed the photos. Be back in a few days with RWB’s.
