Of the 300 GBs of photos I took in 2014, only 3 GBs of those ever made it to Fatlace; the others may have gotten some love on Instagram or even lost while waiting for publication, releases, etc….so here’s to the ones that never made it!

Earlier this month, we were blessed to survive a potentially deadly accident…wifey’s Fiat didn’t make it however.  Her best friend also had a Fiat, and they always joked about a Fiat photoshoot…I’m glad we were able to capture those memories.

Disclaimer: we are both alive and well! Thanks and thanks in advanced for the well wishers ♡ Unfortunately though our Fiat was in the far left lane when she was rear ended, causing a 180 degree drift over five lanes before hitting the right guardrail… #hellafail #driftlife #yolo

We are truly blessed to be alive and well after last Wednesday's accident that resulted in the total loss of our poor little Fiat…cars are replaceable, people are not. Continuing from last week's "teaser," these photos clearly show how everything could have ended much worse for us (rear ended in the far left lane, 180 degree drift over five lanes of traffic, and crashed into the right guardrail). On one of my layovers in San Diego, I linked up with my college friend David who just got his 1969 Dodge Charger back from engine rebuild.

The Volkswagen Club of Hawaii Annual Shaka Weekend is one of my favorite events of the year, but unfortunately I was only able to capture a few highlights this year.

I was lucky enough to catch a very rare sighting of my friend Randy’s freshly restored Type 147 Fridolin!  More info here en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Volkswagen_Type_147_Kleinlieferwagen.

Another event that brings a lot of cars out of hibernation is the annual Toys for Tots Car Show and Shine…like this infamous Hawaiian Hakosuka!

The week after the show, I played car photoshoot tour guide and photo assistant for Dino from Speedhunters.  Looking good Dino!  😉

The Naked and Famous are one of my favorite bands, so I was stoked to not only see them live but also shoot some photos too!

We were lucky enough to be invited to a sneak preview of the new Urban Outfitters Hawaii before the grand opening!

Although we’ve been living on Oahu for about 3 years now, the beauty of paradise is truly endless…here’s what we were blessed with in 2014.
