So we had a little pow wow with the folks from Oregon and the little company I used to work for called Nike. Esaie was my brother from another mother when I worked there so it was good to see him. It was also great to see really awesome training shoes for Fall 2011. I havent been pumped for training shoes in a long time so when they busted out some good ones, it put a smile on my face.

Why do you need shoes for training? Your feet evolved for millions of years to support you. Running through the wild, climbing mountains, hunting food, climbing trees. Jumping over rocks. Your feet are not some delicate weak thing. Civilization has us completely lethargic on matters of our true nature.
The modern running shoe was only invented in the 70’s. They created this myth that you need big thick heels to run and to move properly. Its all marketing BULLSHIT. You only need your feet, and the proper NATURAL running form. Forefoot striking, NOT heel striking when you run. You are supposed to run on the ball of your feet, and have your heel just “kiss” the ground.
